Network Services

Wi-Fi that reaches the whole building.

Network problems are uniquely frustrating: they come and go, they are hard to pin down, and it is rarely obvious whether the fault is yours or your provider's. We measure rather than guess.

Design and deployment

Homes now have small-office networking needs

Remote work and streaming entertainment have made reliable connectivity a priority.

Residential networks

Inconsistent coverage and sluggish speeds are more often the result of poor network configuration than a failing service provider. Before you spend money on new hardware, it is worth finding out what is actually wrong.

We provide residential site surveys that measure signal strength and interference throughout the property and produce recommendations based on what we measured. Whether the goal is eliminating dead zones, getting a reliable connection into a basement office, or keeping a video call stable while someone else streams, the fix should follow the data.

Small business networks

A secure, scalable network is foundational for any business. We design and deploy for organizations moving into new space or modernizing what they have:

  • Secure Wi-Fi — high-speed wireless with proper isolation between guest and internal traffic
  • Infrastructure design — planning and configuring the hardware needed to keep uptime high
  • Telecom and security — IP telephone systems and high-definition video surveillance

From initial planning through to final equipment installation, we make sure the pieces work together rather than merely coexisting.

Diagnostics

Optimization and troubleshooting

Specialized equipment instead of trial and error.

When performance is not meeting expectations, we use diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the cause: signal interference, hardware bottlenecks, saturated links or compromised cabling. Intermittent problems in particular are almost impossible to solve by swapping parts and hoping.

For businesses moving to IP telephony, the integrity of the physical cabling is the most critical factor in consistent voice quality. We assess existing infrastructure with cable verification equipment to confirm it can handle real-time traffic, and identify and replace any segments that fail to meet standard before they turn into complaints about dropped calls.

Cabling

Cabling and infrastructure, properly documented

Every run tested, labeled and recorded.

Whether you are relocating, upgrading a workspace or integrating network cabling into a home renovation, we provide low-voltage cabling services. That includes Ethernet installation across a range of environments — wall fishing, conduit runs and drop-ceiling deployments — as well as network rack remediation, turning disorganized cabling into something clean and maintainable.

On completion of any installation you receive a detailed cable verification report that identifies each cable’s location and length and confirms the infrastructure supports traffic up to 10 Gb/sec.

We also handle equipment racks, patch panels, IP cameras and PoE Wi-Fi access points, and can manage the whole process from equipment recommendations and procurement through to final configuration.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

My Wi-Fi is slow. Do I need a new router?
Possibly, but do not buy one yet. Poor coverage and slow speeds are frequently a configuration or placement problem rather than a hardware problem, and replacing equipment without knowing the cause is an expensive way to stay frustrated. A site survey measures actual signal strength and interference throughout the space and tells you what will genuinely fix it — which is sometimes new hardware and sometimes moving what you have.
Is the problem my equipment or my internet provider?
That is one of the most common questions we get. Testing at different points in the chain separates a provider problem from an equipment problem, which also gives you something concrete to take to the provider instead of a support call that goes nowhere.
Do you install network cabling?
Yes — low-voltage Ethernet cabling including wall fishing, conduit runs and drop-ceiling deployments, plus racks, patch panels, IP cameras and PoE access points. Every installation comes with a verification report identifying each cable's location and length and verifying it supports traffic up to 10 Gb/sec, and we can provide certification documentation as well if desired.
Can you tidy up an existing rack?
Absolutely. Rack remediation — turning a nest of unlabeled cable into something documented and maintainable — is genuinely one of the more satisfying jobs we do, and it pays for itself the first time something goes wrong and someone needs to trace a connection.
We are moving to VoIP phones. Does our cabling matter?
Very much. For IP telephony the physical cabling is the single biggest factor in call quality. We test existing runs with verification equipment and identify any segments that fall short of standard, so you find out before you have deployed phones on a network that cannot carry them cleanly.
